Physician Asset Management Group, LLC d/b/a “Pre Legal Processing Services, LLC” is a Medical and Non-Medical pre legal account processing group.
(Pre-Legal meaning “Prior” to any possible legal action by a licensed Attorney)
Established in 2010, we are a licensed Collection Agency however, we simply process (prep) all accounts by gathering any current bankruptcy information, current address, facts of dispute, etc., that may be useful to the client and attorney. (We Are Not a Law Firm)
We do not process payments for our clients, except in rare instances as requested by a client. Our clients process any payments from the patient.
Accounts are submitted to our contracted attorney’s office upon final decision from the client, for review and possible legal action by the attorney.
Actions taken by the Attorney may include demand, possible judgment, garnishment and bank account levy as per the attorney’s discretion.
“A judgment severely affects a consumer’s credit for 10 to 20 years depending upon the state in which they reside.” It is the responsibility of the consumer to respond immediately to our documented request to contact them.
Once a judgment is filed and entered by the attorney, it will not be withdrawn. If the account is paid afterwards, the judgment will reflect paid but not erased.
Our clients also find our network to be a valuable referral service for RN Home Health Services such as infusion, medication management, physical therapy, occupational therapy, etc.
We also provide medical claims resolution for wrongfully denied claims and have corporate contacts at most major insurance companies. We provide account collection training for your staff, skip tracing to locate any patient, property searches, employment searches and other services that may be requested by our member physicians.
Our management team has over 20 years of experience in the collection, account processing and pre-legal field. We pride ourselves on adhering to the HIPPA and F.D.C.P.A. laws and protecting your patient’s privacy.
